Skin Rejuvenation Treatments
Encompasses to restore, rejuvenate & replenish skin appearance, to address various concerns like fighting signs of skin aging, uneven skin textures & acne.
During your customized treatment, a combination of medical-grade skin care products are used. Medical grade facials can penetrate beyond the surface to address concerns on a deeper level. The professional-strength products contain a higher concentration of active ingredients.
Regularly scheduled facial treatments are an important part of a comprehensive skincare routine and are key to achieving healthy, hydrated, clear skin.
Microneedling on a consistent basis, increases rate of skin cell turnover, resulting in a more youthful brighter skin tone. Microneedling also improves circulation and stimulates collagen production – the foundation for fresh, firm skin.
Depending on your skin’s needs, additional facial rejuvenation products may be recommended, like Mesoestetic peels & injectable mesotherapy solutions by Mesoestetics and microneedling with other skin boosters used in the TCA Dr Clinic as already discussed, and Celluma LED light therapy.
To maximise & prolong results, we recommend incorporating also ‘at home’ skincare regime. At the clinic we use & promote products by Mesoestetics (specialising in skincare treatments since 1985). These non-fake products by Mesoestetics can only be purchased from the clinician directly, once they have reviewed with you.

Chemical Peels
Is a controlled chemo-exfoliation of skin to reduce hyperpigmentation and scarring of skin.
With increasing age, our natural process of skin renewal changes and slows down & sometimes skin appears grey and tired with decreased elasticity.
Chemical peels remove old skin cells and thereby promoting growth of new skin cells. So skin appears healthier, brighter, improved dark pigmentation & more beautiful.
TCA Dr clinic provides a full range of peels, by Mesoestetics, and use to treat and improve various skin conditions, where a chemical peel is a complementary method. The chemical peel used depends on your skin type & skin concern. Treatments are carried out in several sessions typically at intervals of 14 days and can take 30-90 minutes, depending on the treatment combination used on the day. The final result is visible a couple of weeks after peeling off skin, but sometimes you can see the improved skin changes day to day.
Downtime can take 2-3 weeks.
Side effects are : redness of skin area treated, swelling may happen and peeling of skin.
The effect of skin peeling is long-lasting (3-6 months) because it stimulates the renewal of collagen/elastin in skin. It can be performed throughout the year with the use of sunscreen.
We do recommend, ideally, for you to book this appointment at least/ no later than 2 weeks before any important event/function. To allow adequate time for the skin to recover, post-peel treatment, and aim to be free of any post-treatment unwanted side-effects.
Skin Tags/Warts/Mila Removal
Skin tags are small growths of skin, that hang from the surrounding skin by a narrow stalk. They can appear anywhere on the body and often unsightly but easily removed. This can be done using various methods including cryotherapy, cautery, surgical excisions. All these procedures have minimal discomfort. Clinic utilises use of cryotherapy or cautery.
Sundamaged Skin Treatments
Sun-damaged skin – Age spots, uneven pigmentation, melasma, wrinkles, fine lines, skin laxity and spider/thread veins are all signs of sun damage. There are some risk factors we have no control over – such as genetics and skin type.
Type 1 : Pale White Skin. Extremely sensitive skin, always burns, never tans. E.g.. Red hair with freckles.
Type 2 : White Skin. Very sensitive skin, Burns easily, Tans minimally. E.g.. Fair skin, fair-haired Caucasians, Northern Asians.
Type 3: Light Brown Skin. Sensitive skin sometimes burns, slowly tans. Light brown. E.g., Darker Caucasians, Some Asians.
Type 4: Moderate Brown Skin. Mildly sensitive, Burns minimally, Always tans to moderate brown. E.g.. Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Caucasians, and Southern Asians.
Type 5: Dark Brown skin. Resistant skin, rarely burns, Tans well. E.g., Some Hispanics, some Africans.
Type 6: Deeply Pigmented Dark. Brown to Black Skin. Very resistant skin, never burns, deeply pigmented. E.g., Darker Africans, Indigenous Australians.
Knowing your skin type means:
1) you can customize your skin care routine & take correct steps to protect your skin from sun damage
2)skin type used to determine if you are a candidate for certain lasers
3)skin type used to assess for type of chemical peel used
4)skin type used to ascertain skin care ingredients used to renew & rejuvenate skin
on body and face.
The Fitzpatrick Scale above will give you guidance to know your skin type number.
Fitzpatrick skin type varies the amount of time you can spend in the sun without burning. But skin damage can occur without creating a noticeable sunburn. One factor we have control over is to limit UV exposure & avoid tanning & sunburn. Skin cancer mutations are caused by UV damage to DNA, so exposure to UV must be limited.
As our skin ages, collagen & elastin production slow down, so over time the volume and elasticity reduce to create signs of ageing and wrinkles with sagging skin creases around the face and jawline.
‘It's never too late to adopt healthy skin behaviour practice.’
No Matter Your Skin Type – drink water, always be sure to apply plenty of moisturisers, as vitamin-C also aids in protection from sun damage, daily apply (even on a cold day) medical grade SPF30+ sunscreen, wear sunglasses.
These help to slow down premature ageing from overexposure to the sun, help in the prevention of sun-damaged skin changes.
By the end of the consultation, you will feel confident in monitoring your skin and be provided with a personalised strategy for ongoing monitoring as well as skin care advice on UV protection and ingredient-focused skin care to address specific concerns. TCA DR clinic uses products by ‘Mesoesthetics’. *(have link here for pt to press on to go to mesoestetic product page-provided by mesoestetics themselves)*
The treatments offered in the clinic essentially aim to rejuvenate the skin tone and remove unsightly blemishes.
